Dr. Nolan Shaw has provided developmental counseling since 1992. As executive director of Boys To Men, Inc., he specializes in addressing the psychological and sociological needs of "at risk" African-American males, presenting them with developmental models that meet their unique needs.
Dr. Shaw is involved in community building and intergenerational programming. He is highly skilled in the areas of change management, team building and conflict resolution. He holds a master's in Social Science from Southern University, a master's of Divinity from Garrett Evangelical Theological Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry from McCormick Theological Seminary. He is certified by the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland, the Community Change Agents Project and the Eisenhower Leadership Management Program. He is a member of the Association of Experiential Education. Dr. Shaw serves as senior pastor of West Englewood United Methodist Church, Chicago and is employed as assistant director of special projects for the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County.
